Could you be a foster carer?
A fostering drop in event is taking place in the Portsdown Suite at the Hilton Hotel, Farlington on Saturday 4 February 2012 from 10am – 3pm. This is an opportunity for anyone interested in finding out more about fostering to drop in and speak to some of our foster carers and staff.
Please spread the word to all your contacts and constituents. I will be sending you all some posters and hope you will support the event by displaying in your local area.
For more information visit www.fosterportsmouth.co.uk
You could be a foster carer:
- if you have a spare room
- if you have the commitment to care for a child or young person
- regardless of your marital status or sexuality
- whether you own your home or rent
- if you are aged 24 or above (there is no upper age limit)
- if you work full time – providing family link or supportive lodgings care could suit you
- whether you live in Portsmouth or the surrounding area
