Below is a letter I have received from the Council regarding the proposed boundary changes to the Parliamentary seats that cover Portsmouth.
"Dear Councillor,
Following initial proposals made by the Boundary Commission last autumn, the Commission has today published revised proposals for the make-up of the parliamentary constituencies in Portsmouth.
The consultation period on the revised proposals opens today and runs until Monday 10 December.
The Boundary Commission has supplied maps and information detailing their proposals which are available for inspection from the Election Services Office and also at Cosham Library.
The amendments are:
- St Jude moves from Portsmouth West to Portsmouth East
- Fratton moves from Portsmouth East to Portsmouth West
- Portchester East remains in Fareham
